Family support

Family therapy
A thoughtful setting to restore connection, work through conflict, and create healthier dynamics at home.
A thoughtful place to begin
Support shaped around the real picture.
Family therapy looks at what is happening between people as well as what each person is carrying. Together, we make space for different perspectives, strengthen communication, and work towards changes that can be lived out beyond the session.
Who it is for
- Families with children, young people, or adult family members
- Conflict, transitions, separation, loss, or changing family roles
- Families wanting support around behaviour, communication, or connection
How sessions work
- Usually 60- or 90-minute sessions, depending on the family
- Face-to-face in the North East of England, including Sunderland and Newcastle, and in Liverpool
- Video appointments across the UK where appropriate
Format and fees
Clear enough to plan around.
The first meeting helps us understand the family story and agree who should be involved. Sessions may include the whole family or a smaller group, with regular reviews of what is helping.

The source counselling price list does not specify a family therapy fee. Session format and final fees are confirmed on enquiry because family sessions vary in length and attendance.
